Passport to the Moon ASTRONOMY DAYS
Embark on an out-of-this-world adventure at Astronomy Days, hosted by the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences on January 24th and 25th, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. This year's theme, "Passport to the Moon," invites you to explore the lunar landscape through engaging, family-friendly activities.
Delve into the wonders of space with hands-on exhibits, captivating scientist talks, and the chance to peer through telescopes. The event takes place both inside the Nature Exploration Center (NEC) and Nature Research Center (NRC), located at 11 West Jones Street, Raleigh, with outdoor activities on Bicentennial Plaza.
Please note that Blast-Off Rockets will be launched on Bicentennial Plaza throughout the event, creating a loud popping noise. If you are sensitive to such sounds, consider entering through the Nature Research Center (NRC) entrance at 121 W Jones St. Admission is free for everyone.
