Description

Join the community for an engaging and delightful afternoon at Marla Dorrel Park during the upcoming Painted Rock Hunt. This unique event invites families and individuals to explore the playground as they search for one-of-a-kind rocks that have been carefully hidden throughout the space. These treasures were hand-painted by members of our local community during the recent Spring Daze Arts and Crafts Festival, making each discovery a special connection to our shared creativity. Participants are encouraged to choose whether they would like to keep their found rock, trade it with a fellow hunter, or hide it once again to surprise a future visitor.

This inclusive and fully accessible gathering is presented by Kids Together to foster joy and connection within our neighborhood. We kindly ask that each visitor keeps to the limit of one rock per person to ensure everyone has a chance to participate in the fun. We look forward to seeing you there for this wonderful free event. Come out to the park, enjoy the fresh air, and take home a piece of local art.
