Paint the Page is an art competition for students ages 13 to 18 held at the historic Page-Walker Arts and History Center in Cary, North Carolina. Participants will spend an afternoon creating artwork inspired by the architecture and history of this 19th-century railroad hotel using the medium of their choice. The goal is to capture the unique character of the site on canvas or through other artistic expressions.

The event begins at 1:00 pm on November 8th with a tour of the hotel and gardens to spark creative inspiration. Artists must bring their own supplies including easels, stools, and art materials. Water and light snacks will be provided. Attendees will have until 5:00 pm to finish their pieces on site. A reception for participants, friends, and family follows on November 15th to honor the artists, announce winners, and award cash prizes for best in show and judges choice.

This event is ideal for aspiring teen artists looking to showcase their talent and compete for prizes. It offers a professional environment and public recognition for creative work. Please join us for this engaging day of artistic community and historical exploration.
