Native Plant Learn & Serve

The Native Plant Learn and Serve event provides an opportunity to support the health of local pollinator gardens. Participants help maintain these vital green spaces while receiving hands-on education about the significance of native ecosystems in our community.

During this session you will work directly with local staff to manage garden beds through weeding and planting native species. You will learn specific techniques for identifying beneficial flora and understanding how these plants support local wildlife. This experience bridges the gap between active conservation work and academic learning, offering practical skills you can apply to your own gardening efforts at home.

This event is designed for nature enthusiasts, volunteers, and students interested in environmental stewardship. The atmosphere is collaborative, focused, and educational, making it a great way to meet fellow community members who share your interest in sustainability. Whether you are an experienced gardener or a beginner, your contribution makes a measurable difference in our local habitat. Please register in advance to secure your spot and receive specific location details and arrival instructions for our upcoming maintenance session.
