May Month of Fitness Series
Join the Wake Forest Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department for an exciting month of health and wellness this May. Our May Month of Fitness series invites residents of all ages and fitness levels to participate in a variety of engaging physical activities held at the scenic E. Carroll Joyner Park Amphitheater. We are proud to offer these sessions completely free of charge with no registration required, making it easier than ever to prioritize your personal health.
The weekly schedule features something for everyone, including Women’s Self Defense on Mondays, high-energy Cynergy Fit bootcamps on Tuesdays, relaxing Yoga sessions on Wednesdays, and vibrant Zumba classes on Thursdays. Each session runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and is designed to build strength, flexibility, and confidence within a supportive community environment. Whether you are looking to challenge yourself or simply unwind, our professional instructors are ready to guide you.
We encourage you to bring your own water and a yoga mat or towel to fully enjoy the experience. Come be part of our fitness movement and enjoy the beautiful outdoor surroundings at Joyner Park this spring.
