Make & Take: Bandsaw Box
This hands-on workshop teaches participants how to craft a unique wooden box from a single block of wood using a bandsaw. You will learn essential woodworking techniques to create a functional piece of art from start to finish.
Students will work through the entire production process. You will learn how to safely operate a bandsaw to cut the box shape, carve out the internal space, and create a perfectly fitted lid. After the structural cuts are complete, you will focus on sanding and refining the wood grain to achieve a professional, polished finish. This session provides a practical demonstration of how to turn basic lumber into a beautiful, handcrafted item ready for display or daily use.
This class is ideal for beginners and woodworking enthusiasts interested in mastering new shop skills. We provide all necessary tools and materials in a safe and collaborative environment. Whether you are a hobbyist or looking to expand your technical capabilities, this experience offers high value and immediate results. Space is limited, so please register in advance to secure your spot at the workbench.
