K-2nd Adventures: Jellyfish
Join the Wake County Public Library at the Cary Regional Library on March 24, 2026, for an engaging educational experience designed specifically for children in kindergarten through second grade. This interactive event celebrates Women’s History Month by highlighting the fascinating life and scientific contributions of marine researcher Maude Delap. During this session, young learners will explore the mysterious world of jellyfish through a variety of fun, play-based learning centers.
Participants will have the opportunity to craft their very own jellyfish to take home, fostering creativity and a deeper appreciation for marine biology. This event is a wonderful way to introduce children to the remarkable achievements of women in science while sparking their curiosity about the natural world. Space for this activity is limited, so please plan to arrive early to secure your free tickets at the Youth Services Desk starting at 3:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there for an afternoon of discovery and artistic fun. Come be a part of this inspiring celebration where history and science come alive for the next generation.
