Garden Storytime
Bring your little ones to the JC Raulston Arboretum for an enchanting morning of nature and literature. Our Garden Storytime program is specifically designed for families with preschool children, offering an engaging way to explore the beauty of our lush landscape. Participants will meet at the Bobby G. Wilder Visitor Center before embarking on a guided stroll through our vibrant gardens. Along the way, our dedicated staff and volunteers will share delightful children books centered on botanical themes, sparking curiosity and a love for the natural world in every young mind.
After the reading session, children will get hands-on with a fun garden themed craft project to take home as a souvenir. We encourage all caregivers to participate and share in the wonder of the outdoors with their children. Please dress appropriately for the weather as this experience is held outside, though we have sheltered alternatives in case of rain. Join us for this heartwarming event that fosters early childhood discovery and connection with nature. Register your spot today to ensure a spot for your family at this memorable garden experience.
