First Day of Creek Week StoryWalk at Environmental Park
We are thrilled to invite the Knightdale community to celebrate our 4th Annual Creek Week StoryWalk, hosted at our beautiful Environmental Park. In a wonderful collaboration with the East Wake Regional Library, we have curated an engaging outdoor experience that invites residents of all ages to enjoy the intersection of literature and the natural world. This year, we are proud to feature A Place for Rain by Michelle Schaub, a narrative that perfectly complements our commitment to environmental education and appreciation.
The StoryWalk will be available for public enjoyment starting March 12 and will remain open through April 22, 2026. While you explore the trail, we encourage you to interact with our educational exchange box to learn more about our local ecosystem. This event is designed to promote literacy while encouraging physical activity in our tranquil park setting. We invite you to grab your friends and family, head down to the Environmental Park, and immerse yourself in this unique reading adventure. The park remains open daily from dawn until dusk, so plan your visit today and experience this seasonal community tradition firsthand.
