We are thrilled to invite adults aged 18 and older to join our free ukulele lessons held at the Five Points Center for Active Adults. This four-week course, led by instructor Keith, runs every Wednesday from May 27 to June 17, 2026. Whether you are a total beginner or simply looking to brush up on your skills, this is the perfect opportunity to learn the fundamental chords and notes that will allow you to play along with any music group. Participants are encouraged to bring their own ukuleles if they have one gathering dust at home, but do not worry if you are without an instrument as extras will be provided. By the end of this series, you will have the confidence and knowledge to join local jam sessions. This audio described tour provides a guided experience of the Knowing the West exhibition. It is designed to make the diverse collection of over 120 works accessible to visitors who are blind or have low vision. Participants will explore a wide range of artistic media including Native American and non Native American textiles, baskets, paintings, pottery, sculpture, beadwork, and saddles. The tour offers detailed verbal descriptions of these items to provide a clear understanding of the craftsmanship and cultural perspectives on display.
