The Early Summer Birding Adventure is an educational morning walk through Downtown Cary Park designed to explore the local avian population. Participants will learn about the diverse species that inhabit the urban green space during the summer months.

Dr. Patrick McMillan, a horticulturist and naturalist, will lead the session. He will provide expert insights into the behavior, habitats, and identification of the ninety six species currently documented in the park. Attendees will navigate the park grounds to observe birds in their natural environment, gaining a deeper understanding of how the landscape supports this ecosystem.
