Durham Parks Nature Walks
Explore the natural beauty of Durham's parks with Durham Parks & Recreation's Weekend Nature Walks! Embark on a guided one-hour adventure through diverse landscapes, discovering hidden trails and seasonal surprises. Perfect for nature enthusiasts of all levels ages 6+, these walks offer a fantastic opportunity to connect with the outdoors, learn about local flora and fauna, and enjoy the fresh air.
Join us each month at a different Durham park to experience the changing seasons firsthand. Upcoming walks include Rock Quarry Park on January 10th, Sandy Creek Park on March 14th, Solite Park on April 11th, and Twin Lakes Park on May 9th. Each walk is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. These guided walks are just $1.50 for Durham residents and $6.50 for non-residents.
