Creek Week StoryWalk at Environmental Park
Join the community in Knightdale for the fourth annual Creek Week StoryWalk at the scenic Environmental Park. This engaging outdoor initiative is presented in partnership with the East Wake Regional Library to foster a love for literacy and nature among residents of all ages. Participants are invited to walk through the park while reading the featured book A Place for Rain by Michelle Schaub, which highlights the importance of our local ecosystems and the vital role of water in our environment.
This event is open to the public from March 12 through April 22, 2026, offering a flexible schedule for families to enjoy at their convenience. Beyond the pages of the story, visitors are encouraged to explore the educational exchange box located on-site to discover additional resources. Whether you are seeking a peaceful morning stroll or an interactive afternoon learning experience, this StoryWalk provides the perfect setting. Pack your walking shoes and bring your family to explore these pages in the great outdoors today.
