Creek Week StoryWalk at Environmental Park
The town of Knightdale is thrilled to announce the return of our fourth annual Creek Week StoryWalk at the beautiful Environmental Park. This collaborative project with the East Wake Regional Library offers a unique opportunity for families and individuals to engage with literature while immersed in the tranquility of nature. This year we are proud to feature the delightful book A Place for Rain by Michelle Schaub. The exhibit will be available for public viewing from March 12 through April 22, 2026. Visitors are encouraged to explore the pages posted along our scenic trails while learning about the importance of our local waterways.
In addition to the walk, please make sure to visit our educational exchange box located on-site to pick up extra resources. This event is designed to foster a love for reading and environmental stewardship within our vibrant community. We invite everyone to lace up their walking shoes, enjoy the fresh air, and share in this educational experience at their own pace. Our park is open daily from dawn until dusk, so plan your visit today and join us for this seasonal celebration of literacy and our local ecosystem.
