Creek Week StoryWalk at Environmental Park
Join the community in Knightdale for the fourth annual Creek Week StoryWalk at the scenic Environmental Park. This engaging outdoor initiative is presented in partnership with the East Wake Regional Library to foster a love for reading while encouraging residents to explore the natural beauty of the local park system. Visitors can immerse themselves in the featured story A Place for Rain by Michelle Schaub as they follow the trail from start to finish. This interactive experience is designed to provide families and nature enthusiasts with a meaningful way to connect with literature in a fresh air setting. The installation will be available for public enjoyment from March 12 through April 22, 2026. Guests are also encouraged to visit the educational exchange box located on the premises to further enhance their learning experience during their visit. We invite everyone to lace up their shoes, head over to the park, and enjoy a peaceful stroll while reading this season. Please note that the park is open daily from dawn until dusk for your convenience. We look forward to seeing you there.
