Creek Week StoryWalk at Environmental Park
Join us in Knightdale for the fourth annual Creek Week StoryWalk at the scenic Environmental Park. We are excited to partner with the East Wake Regional Library to host this engaging outdoor reading activity designed for community members of all ages. This year features the charming book A Place for Rain by Michelle Schaub, providing an educational narrative that connects families with the natural world around them.
The StoryWalk will remain active from March 12 through April 22, 2026. As you stroll along the pathways, you will discover pages of the story displayed throughout the park, creating a unique fusion of literacy and recreation. We also invite you to explore the educational exchange box located on-site for additional insights into our local ecosystem.
We encourage you to visit the Environmental Park at your convenience, as it remains open daily from dawn until dusk. Take this opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, read a wonderful story, and experience the beauty of our local environment. We look forward to seeing the community come together for this celebration of learning and nature.
