Creek Week Storywalk at Environmental Park
Join us for the fourth annual Creek Week StoryWalk, a delightful community collaboration between the Town of Knightdale and the East Wake Regional Library. Set against the serene backdrop of the Environmental Park, this initiative invites families and nature lovers to engage with literature while exploring the great outdoors. This year, we are proud to feature the inspiring children book A Place for Rain by Michelle Schaub. The installation remains open to the public from March 12 through April 22, 2026, allowing visitors ample time to experience the narrative while strolling through our beautiful green space. Guests are also encouraged to interact with our educational exchange box to further enrich their learning experience during their visit.
We invite you to immerse yourself in this unique blend of literacy and nature. Whether you are a local resident or visiting from nearby, this activity offers a perfect opportunity to enjoy fresh air and exercise. Please feel free to visit the park at your convenience between dawn and dusk each day. We look forward to seeing our community members enjoying this seasonal educational celebration together.
