Autism Acceptance Month Film Screening and Panel
Join B3 for a meaningful afternoon dedicated to Autism Acceptance Month at the Chapel Hill Public Library. We are proud to present a special screening of the powerful documentary Unmet, which explores the critical challenges faced by individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in North Carolina. This insightful film sheds light on the direct support professional crisis and the systemic barriers within our community.
Following the screening, stay for an engaging panel discussion featuring Autistic adults who will share their lived experiences. This session offers a unique opportunity to learn about advocacy, resources, and actionable ways to be a supportive ally to the neurodivergent community. Attendees will enjoy complimentary popcorn, and additional light refreshments will be available for purchase at the B3 Coffee kiosk.
Admission to this event is completely free for all community members. We encourage you to participate in this important conversation as we work together toward greater awareness and inclusion. Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there.
