Arts on East: Lua Project
Experience the vibrant energy of the Arts on East concert series, proudly presented by Duke Arts. Join us every Wednesday evening from May 27 through June 24, 2026, on the picturesque East Campus of Duke University. This exciting outdoor series, formerly known as Music in the Gardens, showcases a diverse lineup of talented artists, with the Lua Project taking the stage to captivate local music enthusiasts. These performances are entirely free and open to the public, offering a wonderful way to enjoy live entertainment in the heart of Durham.
Beyond the exceptional music, attendees can explore a curated community market organized by Kamara Thomas or enjoy delicious offerings from local food trucks like The Palace International. We encourage guests to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics to make the most of the evening atmosphere. If you cannot attend in person, tune in to the live broadcast on WXDU 88.7 FM. For additional event details, weather updates, and artist information, please visit the official Duke Arts website at arts.duke.edu/arts-on-east. We look forward to seeing you there for a memorable night of community and culture.
