Artful Story Time

Artful Story Time is an interactive program that combines children's literature with the museum's collection of original artwork. The event encourages young visitors to explore stories and visual art through guided observation and physical activity.

Each session centers on a selected book paired with specific works of art. You will listen to engaging stories read by rotating guest readers who bring unique perspectives to every session. Attendees are encouraged to move and interact as they make personal connections between the narrative themes and the creative works on display in the gallery. This approach helps children develop observation skills while fostering a deeper appreciation for both reading and visual expression.

This event is designed for children and families who enjoy creative learning environments. The atmosphere is energetic and welcoming to all skill levels. We invite you to join us for an inspiring session that transforms a standard story time into a multisensory museum experience. Check our current schedule for upcoming dates and featured readers. We look forward to seeing you at the museum to discover new stories and art together.
