38th Annual Sculpture in the Garden
Experience the intersection of nature and creativity at the 38th Annual Sculpture in the Garden, hosted at the North Carolina Botanical Garden in Chapel Hill. From September 13 through December 6, 2026, visitors are invited to wander through breathtaking botanical landscapes while discovering a diverse collection of sculptures. This year, the exhibition showcases works from approximately 66 talented artists, featuring pieces ranging from intimate, delicate figures to massive, bold abstract installations. It is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the crisp autumn air while immersing yourself in local art.
The event is perfect for art enthusiasts and families alike, offering a unique chance to explore the display gardens in a new light. Most sculptures are available for purchase, allowing you to bring a piece of this artistic journey home. Admission to the garden is free, with a suggested five dollar donation to support the exhibition. We encourage you to plan your visit soon to witness this spectacular outdoor gallery for yourself. Check the official garden calendar to coordinate your visit and explore everything these stunning grounds have to offer this season.
