The Orange County Department of Aging is dedicated to supporting the community by providing free fans to those in need during the warm summer months. This initiative ensures that vulnerable residents remain cool and safe in their homes when temperatures begin to rise. We invite you to join us on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the Passmore Center located at 104 Meadowlands Drive in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Distribution will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to accommodate local schedules.

Please note that this offer is exclusively available to Orange County residents who are sixty years of age or older, or individuals who currently live with a disability. To ensure fair access for everyone, fans are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. We kindly remind participants that these items cannot be reserved in advance and must be picked up in person.
